So where do weddings come in? Well, it just so happens that I'm a hopeless romantic at heart. I've always loved hearing sweet love stories (blame it on my Disney upbringing!), but tragically didn't get to attend a single wedding until the ripe age of 19. But after being a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding, I immediately was hooked. I took a job at a local wedding venue as soon as I could and haven't been able to get enough ever since. 

I should've known that the girl who kept an invention journal and spent her time collecting business cards would start her own business one day. 

I come from a long line of passionate entrepreneurs. My mom had her own Jazzercise franchise (cute!), my grandfather is a serial entrepreneur, and my other grandfather owned his own bar. After becoming obsessed with shows like Shark Tank (Mark Cuban will forever be my hero) and The Profit, I realized that this entrepreneurship bug wasn't going anywhere. When I shipped off to college at The University of Oklahoma (BOOMER!) I declared Entrepreneurship and Marketing as my majors and spent the next four years learning what it takes to run an innovative business from the ground up.

Did I choose the entrepreneur life or did the entrepreneur life choose me?
